Bráðum kemur betri tíð | Waiting for Spring

Hægt og rólega færist vorfiðringur inn í húsið og ég stend mig að því að leita uppi litríka hluti. Ég reyndar afskaplega lítið í gula litnum en eitthvað er nú til af kertastjökum og öðru dúlleríi í björtum litum. Ég ætlaði að gera mér páskakerti til að bæta úr fyrir gula skortin en endaði svo með að gera þetta fuglakerti...fannst einhvern veginn skemmtilegra að kalla þetta vorkerti heldur en páskakerti...og geta þá notið þess lengur en bara yfir páskana

Síðustu dagar hafa verið sólríkir, að vísu ískaldir en það er birtan sem skiptir öllu og minnir okkur á að bráðum kemur betri tíð með blómum og fuglasöng.

Slowly but surely my house gets ready for spring and it can mostly be seen in the colorful things I scatter around the house ;) I don´t have much of yellow in here but more of other bright colors like purple, pink and blue. I had some plans of making an Easter candle to make up for the absence of yellow but ended up with this one, which is more of a spring candle. And maybe that makes more sense...then I can enjoy it a bit longer.

The last days have been really sunny and bright, really cold though, but its the brightness that matters. It reminds us that soon spring will be here with flowers and little birds.
