Today is dedicated to fishermen here in Iceland and all over the country you will find celebrations and festivities. Being a fisherman´s daughter my mind drifts back to the days of youth in a tiny fishing village where this day was celebrated with pillowfighting, sailing on the fjord and getting chocolate and coca cola :)
This print is made in honor to those who choose this livelihood and have to spend time away from their families and working in harsh and often dangerous environment.
